One of the hottest women’s trends today is that of the super-hot and stylish looks created by geek chic glasses. It’s ok to be one of those women who think this look only works for carefree teenagers and celebs. However, you’re wrong! When done correctly, this look can be worn by up-to-the-minute females in their 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and beyond. Don’t believe me? Geek Chic in your 20’s. While girls in their younger 20’s are generally still in college and look good whether sporting geek chic glasses or a wet paper bag, the look does become harder to pull off once you graduate. Despite the fact that you were maybe vomited on by baby 10 minutes before you had to leave for work, you want to step out the door looking and feeling like you own the day. Geek Chic in your 40’s. The 40’s allow for a bit of rediscovery when it comes to fashion. While the 30’s presented hectic chaos, the 40’s are usually a bit calmer and you too can easily get in on the geek chic trend. Instead of the super large rimmed glasses, look for a traditional wayfarer or rectangular shaped set of glasses with wider frames in either traditional black or brown hues, or even a fun pattern – you can easily pull off tortoise prints, plaids or even stripes. Don’t shy away from fashion trends in your 40’s, just properly embrace them to bring out your best.
