Atkins diet mainly focuses on the growing number of proteins and fats in food rather than eating carbs. But it can turn out to be the worst diet if you do not balance the fat level in your body and intake a lot of fats.

On the other hand, the Keto diet includes a maximum intake of proteins. The keto diet is quite effective when it comes to lose weight. It shares a lot of similarities with the Atkins diet too. The foods that you can eat during the keto diet foods are:

  1. Avocadoes.
  2. NO carb vegetables.
  3. Meat and cheese.
  4. Eggs and yogurt.

The keto diet and Atkins diet are quite similar. The only thing that is a change in both the diets is going back to carbs. You can shift to carbs in the Atkins diet, but you will remain on ketosis in the keto diet. Atkins is excellent if you want to lose weight for a specific time. But the keto diet is best if you’re going to maintain your body forever.
