Start early, change lifestyle before you adapt to unhealthy ways, make a smart choice.

 Moisturize and Protect

Always try to keep your skin hydrated with a nourishing moisturizer. This really helps in slowing down the ageing process. Moisturizing helps skin rejuvenation and protects it from external environmental elements, which can harm your skin. Dry skin can lose elasticity and chances of getting wrinkles on your skin increase. Smarter approach would be to use moisturizer with SPF value so as you can keep those harmful UV rays away.

Sun Protection

Sun-block or sunscreen must be used to protect your skin when you are exposing your skin for long hours in sun. Exposure to ultraviolet light (UVA or UVB) from the sun accounts for 90% of the symptoms of premature aging and can even cause skin cancer. It is important to know that, sun’s UV rays damage the skin’s elastin fiber, causing your skin to sag and stretch. Harmful effects are not seen immediately, but UVA/UVB rays act as catalysts in aging.

Be Happy!

Stop taking excessive stress in your life, stress can only increase if not taken for granted. Stress cannot only cause skin damage, but also many other health problems. It changes your facial expression, frowning can also cause wrinkles, as skin can lose elasticity due to permanent muscle contraction. Yoga and breathing exercises can help you manage stress, be a selfless smiling person and beauty inside will be reflected on your skin.

Exercise

Exercising, no doubt is most healthy habit.  It makes you energetic and keeps you young. No matter what form of exercise you do, anything that increase the flow of blood in your nerves and pumping of heart can make you look younger.

Sleep Well

Lack of sleep can take toll on your body and its effects can be seen on your face. An average of eight hour sleep is required by an adult; sleep well to avoid those sagging under eyes and fatigue. Sleeping also helps reduce stress. Avoid being   lethargic.

Eat Healthy

Say no to junk food. Try to consume food rich in vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients like fruits and vegetables. Avoid alcohol, dope and cigarettes. Make sure you drink lots of water. According to studies done it is said that that vegetables, legumes and olive oil (foods abundant in the antioxidant vitamins A, C and E) protect against sun damage, while excessive of meat, dairy and butter products can cause skin damage.
