1. Yellowstone National Park
Nearly four million people visit this park in a year, which is also the first national park of the world. Winter season is the best time to visit Yellowstone National Park. The scenery has its own wintery majesty, when boiling rivers billow with steam, geysers shoot higher and waterfalls turn to curtains of ice. Even the rates lower during this period.

2. US Virgin Islands
This is the best choice for an American tropical gateway. Each of the Islands has their own identity. St John is a lush national park with hikes to secluded beaches and tent cabins amid trees.
